Former Prime Minister, the Most Honorable P.J. Patterson visited his alma mater, Calabar High School today. The visit was on the occasion of the Kingston and St. Andrew Development and Homecoming Foundation in association with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information’s (Region 1) Student Motivational and Empowerment Week Programme for the month of November.
Patterson who is one of the Motivational Speakers for the programme, spoke with the sixth formers of the institution and expressed to them that “to what additionally I had learned academically, the spirit of Calabar, the purpose of Calabar, the insistence that you give your best at all times no matter what; the feeling that once you tackle something you don’t quit, you must see it through.”
The programme’s aim is to enhance the educational and leadership development of students and to inspire them to work assiduously toward their goals.
