"The Utmost for the Highest"

Cricket

Calabar competes for the Sunlight Cup which is the symbol of school boy supremacy in cricket among grant-aided secondary schools in the corporate area. The cup was first awarded in 1906 and in 1946 we were joint winners with Kingston College and St. Georges College.

They were finalists in 1961, 1964, 1984, 1986, 1988 & 2015

Calabar’s fast bowler Tom Dewdney, all-rounders Lawson Mathews and Nehemiah Perry represented Jamaica with Dewdney and Perry going on to represent the West Indies.
